Before the day of medical workers, the museum of the basic network of cultural institutions of the Poltava city territorial community held the campaign "Museumists are grateful to the doctors", the purpose of which was to give medical workers the opportunity to relax by visiting the city's museums and to strengthen the interaction between the cultural and medical communities.
This initiative shows gratitude and respect to doctors for their selfless work in difficult times. She not only emphasized the importance of medicine, but also showed how culture and art can serve as a means of supporting and uniting society.
On July 27-28, 2024, the municipal museums of the city worked in the mode of "Open Door Day" (free entrance and excursion service for medical workers on the condition of presentation of the relevant certificate), 37 people took advantage of the promotion.
This year's charity event was held in Poltava for the fourth time. It was launched by the museum community in the summer of 2020 as a show of effective respect for the doctors who fought the consequences and prevented the spread of COVID-19.
