As part of the National Barrier-Free Week, the Poltava Art Museum (Art Gallery) named after Mykola Yaroshenko presented an inclusive tour of the exhibition of Sasha Putri's drawings for students of the Poltava Special School of the Poltava Regional Council.
Each work of the young artist is now supplemented with a QR code with accessible video content: adapted for people with hearing impairments (sign language, captions) and taking into account the special needs of visitors. This format allowed the participants not only to get acquainted with Sasha Putri's work, but also to feel her emotional world more deeply.
The project was initiated by the Department of Culture, Youth and Family of the Poltava City Council. Similar inclusive initiatives are planned to be implemented in other municipal museums in Poltava in the future.
