On the occasion of World Bike Day, Poltava hosted the annual ‘To the Museum by Bike!’ campaign for the eighth time. Fans of two-wheeled transport were able to visit the city's municipal museums free of charge, demonstrating their commitment to sustainable mobility.
The campaign was traditionally joined by:
- Poltava Battlefield State Historical and Cultural Reserve;
- Art museum (art gallery) named after M. Yaroshenko;
- Ivan Kotliarevskyi Literary Memorial Museum;
- Museum-Estate of Ivan Kotliarevskyi;
- Volodymyr Korolenko Literary-memorial museum;
- Panas Myrnyi Literary Memorial Museum.
The campaign supports the UN resolution to promote cycling as an affordable, environmentally friendly and healthy means of transport. We thank everyone who joined us and remind you that even a short bike ride can be a step towards change for the better!
