A theatrical tour organised by the Panas Mirny Literary and Memorial Museum in Poltava in conjunction with the NGO "Amateur Theater "Malafeya " took place in Poltava, transporting viewers back to the days when the famous Ukrainian writer and public figure Panas Myrnyi (Panas Rudchenko) walked the streets of the city.
Participants had the opportunity to see familiar places through the eyes of the classic, hear excerpts from his works and live scenes from 19th-century Poltava life. The actors recreated events related to the Rudchenko family, their service, creative pursuits and public activities.
The tour combined historical accuracy with artistic vision, creating the atmosphere of a living open-air museum. The project aims not only to remind people of this outstanding fellow countryman, but also to show that the history of Poltava is the history of the people who created its spirit and word.
