Poltava's municipal museums have once again received humanitarian aid from the Ukrainian Art Assistance Center, a Kyiv-based non-governmental organization headed by Iryna Nikiforova. The initiative aims to support cultural institutions operating in difficult conditions and in need of resources to preserve their collections and ensure their daily operations.
This time, museum workers received technical equipment, materials, and tools necessary for the institutions to operate during martial law. The equipment included charging stations, power banks, flashlights, tool kits, packing boxes, construction staplers with staples, stretch film, data storage devices, and other useful items. All this will help museum staff improve the storage conditions of exhibits, carry out restoration work, and organize exhibitions.
It is important to note that a significant part of the donated materials is intended to protect museum collections and ensure the stable operation of institutions in the difficult socio-economic situation caused by the war. Such resources allow museums to respond more quickly to challenges related to the preservation of cultural heritage and remain open to visitors.
