To mark Poltava Day, themed tours were organised for residents and visitors to the city, taking the form of a journey along trolleybus route No. 1, which connects the "Poltava-Kyivska" and "Poltava-Pivdenna" railway stations.
During the journey, participants discovered familiar city landmarks from a new perspective. The guides spoke about the history of the streets, architectural landmarks, notable sites and distinguished Poltava residents whose names are inextricably linked to the city’s development. An ordinary journey on public transport turned into a fascinating tour, offering a fresh perspective on Poltava’s history and cultural heritage.
The participants who showed the greatest attention and enthusiasm received "Poltava Tourist" guidebooks as a gift.
The tours were made possible thanks to collaboration with the Poltava City Council’s municipal enterprise "Poltavaelektroavtotrans", which traditionally supports the city’s cultural and educational initiatives. Thanks to this partnership, a routine public transport route was transformed into a genuine journey through Poltava’s history.
