On October 12-13, 2022, the World Battlefield Museums Forum 2022 international conference was held in the city of Gdansk (Republic of Poland) on the basis of the World War II museum under the patronage of the country's president Andrzej Duda. Among the participants are military museums from the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Poland and others. The only representative from Ukraine was the Museum of the History of the Battle of Poltava. The report of Yevgenia Shcherbyna, head of the department of scientific and educational work of the museum, was received with special interest and warmth, with applause and shouts of "Glory to Ukraine".
