At the beginning of the 2022/2023 academic season, the State Historical and Cultural Reserve "Battlefield of Poltava" in cooperation with the Department of Education of the Poltava City Council as part of the national museum and pedagogical program "Touch History" started a series of thematic lessons-excursions on the history of Ukraine and local history .
Taking into account the differentiated approach for students of different age categories, the project provides:
- for junior and primary school students, the lesson "Getting to know the museum";
- for secondary school students – the thematic lesson "There is no translation for the Cossack race";
- for high school students - lessons "The Great Northern War in the Poltava region. Battle of Poltava in 1709." and "Volodar" (dedicated to Hetman of Ukraine Ivan Mazepa).
Within the framework of the project, more than 10 thematic lessons-excursions were held during September-November of the current year.
