Traditionally, at the beginning of May, after some winter lull, a new season of excursion services for Poltava residents and guests of the city begins. In addition to the exhibition space of the five communal museums of Poltava, the city's museum workers have prepared thematic and thematic excursions in the open air: the territory of the picturesque literary estates and the historical part of the inhabited place.
Like last year, considerable attention will be paid to internally displaced persons (IDPs), whose excursion service will be provided free of charge. A mandatory prerequisite for all street excursions is the pre-registration of participants, and for IDPs - the presence of a relevant document (certificate).
On May 6, two Poltava city museums offer street themed tours: "The Siege of the Poltava Fortress" (Poltava Battlefield State Historical and Cultural Reserve) and "Poltava classics through the eyes: a walk through the city" (Literary and Memorial Museum of Panas Myrny).
