In Ukraine, in accordance with the latest Presidential Decree No. 327/2023 dated 13.06.2023, the professional holiday of doctors - the Day of the medical worker will be celebrated annually on June 27.
In order to show respect and support for medical workers, who every day professionally and selflessly save thousands of lives of Defenders of Ukraine, the charity event "Museumists are grateful to doctors!" is being held in Poltava. will take place from July 27 to 30, 2023. Entrance to the communal museums of the city: Poltava Battlefield State Historical and Cultural Reserve, Art museum (art gallery) named after M. Yaroshenko, Ivan Kotliarevskyi Literary Memorial Museum, Museum-estate of Ivan Kotlіarevskyі, Volodymyr Korolenko Literary-memorial museum, Panas Myrnyi Literary Memorial Museum - free of charge (on presentation of a medical certificate).
This year's charity event in Poltava will continue for the third time. It was launched by the museum community in the summer of 2020 as a show of effective respect for the doctors who fought the consequences and prevented the spread of COVID-19.
