At the final stage of the two-month period of cleanliness and beautification of the territory of the Poltava city territorial community (March 23 - May 22, 2023), the city's museum workers organized and held an environmental campaign - "Oaks of Invincibility" - on the eve of the International Day of Museums (May 18). The workers of the literary and memorial estates of Ivan Kotliarevskyi, Panas Myrnyi, Volodymyr Korolenko, and the historical and cultural reserve "Field of the Battle of Poltava" planted cuttings of a tree to which our ancestors gave sacred meaning - OAK.
One of the main themes of the International Day of Museums - 2023 is the environmental theme, which is extremely relevant for Ukraine in the conditions of the Russian Federation's open military aggression against our country.
"Oaks of Invincibility", planted in the spring of 2023, will not only decorate the courtyards of the municipal museums of the city, but will also make a significant contribution to overcoming environmental problems.
