The memorial sign is located in the park zone of the Poltava State Agrarian University. The sculptural composition depicts a boy and a girl shepherds in Ukrainian clothing, embracing a life-size pig on both sides.
The inscription "Eternal Feeder of the Ukrainian People" appeared after the announcement of the competition, in which the version proposed by the famous Poltava local historian, honored inventor of Ukraine, associate professor of the Department of Plant Protection Viktor Samorodov won.
