The bronze image of the main character of Ivan Kotlyarevsky's poem "Aeneid" became the first mini-sculpture in Poltava. The sculptor M. Kolodko took as a basis the image of Aeneas, which was depicted in the first full-length Ukrainian cartoon "Aeneid" by the animator and screenwriter E. Kyrych.

Under the sculpture is a coin with a trident "fart", which must be rubbed for good luck.
