The planting of the alley in front of the Poltava Literary and Memorial Museum of Ivan Kotliarevskyi was timed to coincide with the 250th anniversary of I. Kotliarevskyi's birth, as well as part of the celebration of the Day of the Defender of Ukraine and Ukrainian Cossacks. The first six bushes were planted by the participants of the event, and one of them was dedicated to the memory of Anton Tsedik, nicknamed ‘Enei.’ Under this name, he went to defend Ukraine from Russian mercenaries and died in the battles near Ilovaisk in 2014.
