A monument to one of the founders of the newest Olympic Games, a member of the International Olympic Committee, a lieutenant general, a teacher of the Poltava Petrovsky Cadet Corps, a companion of physical culture and sports movement was erected in 2006 (architects V. Shevchenko, M. Pospolitak, gr. - Yu. Vialyi).
